About Scholarship
The Carl Edward Malone scholarship seeks individuals who embodies his passion for growth, practical knowledge, elevation, and a quest to live a better life.
Carl loved young people and always supported their dreams. To continue his legacy, two awards are presented to students entering college or a technical school in the Fall. Recipients receive award in the summer and fall of the attending year of college.
Scholarship Eligibility and Requirements
Below is the eligibility and any required documents necessary to complete your application
Eligibility
Applicants of the Carl Edward Malone Scholarship must:

Be a current high school graduate.

Plan to enroll full-time in an undergraduate program.

Plan to attend an accredited vocational-technical school, two- or four-year college or university.

Have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent.

Be a United States (U.S.) citizen or legal resident living in and attending an educational institution in the U.S.
Ineligible applicants include graduates from Greater Gethsemane AME Zion Church, family members of the Coffee with Karen company, or any previous recipient of the Carl Edward Malone Scholarship.
